A fellow went in to a pet shop looking for a good animal to have for a pet. He noticed three parrots sitting on a perch and asked the store keeper how much for the one on the right. The owner said "Five hundred dollars". The fellow was amazed and asked "How come so much for a parrot, what does he do?" The store owner said "Well, you see, he knows computers". So the fellow said "OK. How much is the one in the middle?" The store owner replied "He's worth one thousand dollars". "One thousand dollars?" the fellow shouted. "What does he do that he's worth that much?" "Well" the store owner replied "Not only does he know computers, but he can program in ADA, and he knows UNIX." 'An amazing bird for sure" said the potential customer. "So, how much is the other one?" The owner said "That one is selling for two thousand dollars". "And what does he do?" the customer asked. "To tell the truth" the owner said, "I've never seen him do anything, but the other two call him Boss".
