A bunch of GEEKS from a number of universities and colleges thought up a computer experiment. After much planning and discussion (e-mail), a date was agreed upon. On the designated Sunday, the students would surreptitiously connect hundreds on mainframe computers together to create the world's most powerful computer in the world, if only for a short period of time. At the designated time, phone connections were established and buttons were pushed. The students had agreed that the first question to be asked of this "most powerful system" would be, "Is there a God?" After a short period of time, the 'System' replied, "There is Now!"
